chicken marsala simplified

GRANDPA'S MARSALA SIMPLIFIED

1 plus lb. pork or chicken
1/2 lb. sliced fresh mushrooms
1 tsp. minced garlic
2 tsp. butter
1 env. onion soup mix
3/4 c. Marsala wine
2 tsp. white wine
Worcestershire sauce
Saute mushrooms and garlic in butter. Arrange meat in baking dish. In small bowl, mix together onion soup mix, wine and Worcestershire sauce. Spread mushrooms and garlic over meat. Pour wine mix over that.Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
